Evi Miyaki

Biography

By cultural evolution, we mean the evolution of ideas.

I was born and raised in Chania, Crete. It was there, in the place I come from, that I learned to act from the heart, as a citizen and as an entrepreneur. I have more than 25 years of experience in strategic development, project management, networking and business innovation, working across tourism, culture, AI technology, yachting and energy.

I have developed and delivered high-value-added business initiatives, designing growth strategies, promotional activities and partnerships at national and international level. I have substantial experience in organising conferences, business forums, cultural activities and events, as well as in communication, marketing and branding, strengthening the links between business, tourism and culture.

At the same time, I take an active part in international cooperation networks and charitable initiatives, promoting an outward-looking approach, social contribution and sustainable development.

I am an active member of the Professional Chamber of Athens, the International Chamber of Commerce of Greece (ICC Hellas), the Professional Chamber of Greece (Commercial Chamber of Greece), the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry (EBEA), the Arab-Hellenic Chamber (AECG), the Hellenic-American initiative THI – The Hellenic Initiative, USA, the international organisation “Who is Who”, and a member of the UNESCO Greece association.

I am Vice President of the humanitarian association Hellen Keller Lions International Club, the European Union of Women in Greece, the anti-cancer association “Alma Zois” and the Hellenic Anti-Cancer Society, and I contribute with all my strength to supporting and promoting their work.

My vision, my ethics and my sense of responsibility guide me as I work hard for the common good, with one aim only: to give something back to my fellow human beings and to empower the women who advance culture and enterprise in Greece, our country.
